UAMS White Coat Ceremony : LaShundra Watson invited me to photograph her and her classmates at their UAMS White Coat Ceremony. The ceremony publicly recognizes their first steps into the medical profession. Only 160 students were accepted into this class out of over 1600 applicants. After the ceremony LaShundra and her family had a nice reception with cake and refreshments. We wish LaShundra and all her classmates continued success in their education. JA Fair Class of 98 Reunion : I had the pleasure to photograph the JA Fair Class of 1998 ten year reunion. It was really nice to see old classmates come together and remember the good times they had in High School together. As usual when I shoot school reunion I had each person find themselves in the year book and take a then and now photo. Tre Day's Celebrity Bowling Bash : I was invited to shoot Power 92's Tre Day's 5th Annual Celebrity Birthday Bowling Bash and Silent Auction. It was held at Millennium Bowl. This event raises money for TreDay.com Scholarship Project at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. This year Celebrities included, Corliss Williamson (NCAA & NBA Champion), Anthony Lucas (Former Razorback) , Stacy Andrews (Bengals), Johnathan Uchendu (UALR), Mark Edward (KTHV), Ann Pressly (KATV), David Raath (FOX 16), and a bunch more I know I forgot. A bunch of great auction item were won to include a set of rim from Rent and Roll and a meet and greet with Derek Fisher and the Lakers when they play Memphis next season. I had a wonderful time and brought my daughter with me who you will see with most of the celebs. Enjoy the photos. And leave a comment. Arkansas Black Hall of Fame Grant Awards '08 : Arkansas Black Hall of Fame announced their 2008 grant recreants. The awarded groups come from all over the state of Arkansas and represent a very diverse group. The Peabody Hotel also choose this event to present their first Edward Pembroke scholarship.

Trent and Michelle's Dinner Party : Trent and Michelle’s pre-wedding dinner party was held at the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library in Downtown Little Rock. The party was hosted by Michelle’s Aunt Shirlee and Uncle Taylor Dandy from Ft. Worth TX. The evening started by receiving guests for cocktails and hors d’oeuvre on the back patio of Café 42. After cocktails, the party was given a private tour of the library. Finally, this wonderful night ended with and elegant private dinner at Café 42. Artscene April Friday Night Art : I attended last Friday's Artscene show at the Main Steet Cinema. The vibe was real laid back with displays from various local artist. The crowd was encouraged to do there own art with supplies at the venue. They also had a great Techno DJ in one of the theaters. I had a good time and I will be back.

ODAR CFC Chili Cook Off : These are photos from our offices Annual Chili Cook Off. This year’s first place winner was Lucy Hamm. We raised $100 dollars for the Combined Federal Campaign. Our Judges were BJ Bowen of the United Way, Robert Feldt Resident Officer in Charge, Social Security Office of the Inspector General and Matt Mosler Morning News Host for KARK Channel 4.

UAPB Homecoming Weekend : This was the first time I attended UAPB's homecoming. I went down Friday night and did photos for Dre P and the Little Rock Social Group at YNot's Jazz and Blues. The William Staggers Trio and The On Call Band both performed at the club. DJ Curt from Power 92.3 kept the crowd moving in between and after the bands performed. The house was packed and it was standing room only and almost inpossiable to take photos. I departed YNot's and headed to the VFW where Angela and the V-Lounge were having spoken word and DJ Swift perform. I got there to late to hear the performers so I took a few photos and headed out. The next day I went to the Homecoming game did a small amount of tailgating with Dre P and crew. I caught the half time show and a little bit of the football game. I was suppose to be at the V-Lounge that night but could not make it. Enjoy the photos. Dan

Nancy's Race Day : I had the pleasure to photograph Nancy's group photo for the Little Rock Rack for the Cure. This is an event that I normally attend each year but due to booking issues, I was only able to be there before the race began. Nancy was the sweetest host I felt like a member of the family the moment I met her. It was such a heartwarming experience to see how many people came to show support for her during this time in her life. I only wish I had more time to spend with group because the day seemed to be off to a wonderful start. I hope you enjoy the photos. Dan

Connor's adoption : Connor’s adoption became final on June 26, 2006 at the Pulaski County Court House. Donnas, Jamie and Kaylee all attended. When asked if he wanted to stay with him Mommy by the Judge.. Connor said “No”. Their attorney reminded the court that Connor had not been sworn in and his testimony could not be for the record. The Judge took photos with the family after approving the adoption.
