Korto Momolu's Project Runway Wrap Party : Korto Momolu held her Project Runway Wrap Party at Park on the River in Maumelle. The location was wonderful as well as the food and friends that Korto managed to get to help her host this party. My duty's for the night was to handle photos in the media room where guest had their photos taken and Korto would bring group back to have her photo taken with them. Several other photographers were invited to help out with the night. Ariston Jacks handled the red carpet and candid photos in the main room. Pinky and her band performed as well as three different DJ though out the night. Everyone had a blast as Korto closed the Project Runway chapter of her career and begins on the next phase of providing fabulous fashion for women of all sizes. SEE A PHOTO YOU LIKE? Memoirs of a Fashionista : Korto through another one of her parties this one had a Asian theme and was titled "Memoirs of a Fashionista". Funky Logic peformed evey hit song you could think of and even did a wondful old school set. Once the band left the stage the DJ and MC took over the night with a dance like Korto session (who knew she that Koroto knew every old school dance from the Wop to the robot.) The party lasted until well after midnight with car loads of people arrive as I exited at 12:45. It was great to be out with some nice people and a wonderful host. I hope you enjoy the photos. Korto Momolu Spring Collection : Korto Momolu, Natasha Dixon and Erica Danell’s Spring Fashion show was held at The Arts Scene in North Little Rock April 14, 2007. The show was a sold out standing room only event. Some of Arkansas wonderful local models graced the catwalk in a stunning show that would rival any cities fashion week. Also, several local musical and dance acts were able to display there talent during the meet and greet cocktail hour and intermission. Korto Momolu Fashion Show : Korto Momolu fashion show was held at LuLav, downtown Little Rock. The show was fablous featuring Korto's latest designs. The show opened with Korto intoduction of two other designers Harriet Ann Martin of Elect Lady Vintage and Natasha Dixon of Najo Creations. Korto Honored by the City of Little Rock : Thursday November 13, 2008 was declared by Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola Korto Momolu-Briggs day. The event had a meet and greet with Korto and a fashion show with some of her collection. The Vice Mayor Stacy Hurst presented the declaration on behalf of the city of Little Rock for representing Little Rock to the World. Korto gave remarks in her usual humble way by thanking everyone who helped her get to where she is and asked everyone to continue to support her.

Conway Bridal Fair 2009 : Went to the Conway Bridal fair just to check it out. It was very interesting ran into some people that we have worked on weddings with (DJ and Wedding Consultant), also ran into some photographer friends. 4th Dimension Salon First Annual Hair and Fashion Show : 4th Dimension Salon held their First Annual Hair and Fashion Show at the Little Rock Dime One Store. The show was very well put together featuring hair and fashion from local hair/nail salons and boutiques. 4th Dimension promised that this was just one of many events to come. Korto Momolu's Project Runway All-Star Challenge Watch Party : I had the pleasure to be invited to Korto Momolu's Project Runway All-Star Challenge Watch Party. The party was held at the Star Bar which is just stones through away from the State Capitol Building on Third Street. Korto was invited back by Project Runway along with previous winners and finalist to kick off the new season with a $100,000 All-Star Challenge. Korto's party started just before the show began and everyone took their seats and watched with interest on how Korto's designs would compare to the other contestant. It was clear early on that Korto was there to win. As the night progressed everyone in the room knew that Korto was going to win and she never let on any different. When she was announced runner up the air was sucked out of the room. Korto being the gracious person that she is was not bitter and wanted everyone to know that you can achieve all your dreams just like she has and to never give up on your dream. She ended that night by reminding everyone that her clothing line would be available at Dillard's soon. We hope you enjoy the photos they can be purchased for download or print for as low as $2.
